Website Services Agreement

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This Website Services Agreement (the "Agreement") is between Seven Rails Web Co. of Spartanburg, South Carolina ("Seven Rails," "we," "us") and the customer identified at checkout or on the signature page ("Client," "you"). By checking the acceptance box at checkout, signing electronically, or paying an invoice referencing this Agreement, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

We build and manage websites and Google Business Profiles for local service businesses. Your specific plan is the one you select at checkout:

Every plan includes hosting, SSL security, mobile/tablet/desktop design, local SEO fundamentals, and unlimited changes (Section 4).

2. Preview first, pay after

We build your website preview at no cost and with no obligation. The build fee is due only when you approve your preview and tell us to take it live. If you never approve, you never owe us anything. Once your approved site is live on your domain, the build fee is earned and non-refundable.

3. Going live and what we need from you

Your site goes live within 48 hours after BOTH (a) your approval and payment, and (b) our receipt of your launch materials: logo or business name styling, photos you have the right to use, business hours, service area, and access needed to your domain and Google Business Profile. The 48-hour clock starts when we have everything. Delays caused by missing materials, domain-access issues, or third parties (registrars, Google) extend the timeline accordingly and are not our breach.

4. Unlimited changes — what that means

Your monthly plan includes unlimited change requests to your existing website: text, images, hours, prices, services, staff, photos, section layout adjustments, adding or removing pages within your plan's scope. Just ask; most changes are completed within 2 business days.

Fair use: "unlimited changes" means ongoing upkeep of your site, not new products. It does not include building an entirely new or additional website, full redesigns more than once per 12 months, custom software or app development, e-commerce builds, paid advertising management, or content for other platforms. Requests are handled in the order received. If a request falls outside this scope, we'll say so and quote it separately before doing anything.

5. Monthly service, term, and cancellation

Your monthly subscription begins the day your site goes live and renews monthly via Stripe. There is no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period; no further charges after that. We do not prorate or refund partial months.

If a monthly payment fails and remains unpaid 10 days after notice, we may suspend the site and Google Profile management until the account is current.

We may terminate with 30 days' notice; if we do, we'll complete the export in Section 6 at no charge.

6. You own everything

You own your domain name, your business content, your photos, your reviews, and your Google Business Profile at all times. Upon full payment of the build fee, ownership of your website's final files (pages, text, images we prepared for you) transfers to you. We retain ownership only of our internal tools, templates, and processes used to build it.

If you cancel: within 14 days of your request we will provide a complete export of your website files and reasonable cooperation to transfer your domain and Google Business Profile access. Hosting on our infrastructure ends at cancellation; the exported site can be hosted anywhere.

7. Google Business Profile

You authorize us to access and manage your Google Business Profile as a manager for as long as your monthly plan is active. We follow Google's guidelines and never post fake reviews or fake engagement — and you agree not to ask us to.

We do not and cannot guarantee search rankings, traffic volumes, lead counts, or revenue. Anyone who guarantees you #1 on Google is lying to you. What we promise is professional, consistent work on the factors within our control.

8. Your responsibilities

You confirm that everything you give us to publish — names, photos, logos, claims about your business, licenses, certifications — is accurate and yours to use. You are responsible for your business's compliance with laws that apply to it (licensing, advertising rules for your trade, etc.). You will maintain access to your own domain registrar and Google accounts.

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from materials you provided or from your business's own conduct.

9. Portfolio

You allow us to display your live website and business name in our portfolio and marketing. Tell us in writing anytime to remove it and we will within 10 business days.

10. Warranties and liability

The services are provided "as is" beyond the express promises in this Agreement. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for outages or actions of third parties (hosting providers, registrars, Google, Stripe).

Our total liability under this Agreement is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.
